Printable baseball and softball lineup card
A one-page lineup and defensive rotation card: batting order down the side, a position for every inning across. It fits 9 or 10 fielders and 6 or 7 innings, baseball or softball. Free to print for your team.
How to use it
How to fill in the card
The tips are printed on the card itself, so an assistant coach can fill it in too.
- Fill in the top line. Team, opponent, date and field, and circle home or visitor.
- Write the batting order down the side. Jersey number and name, up to fourteen players.
- Start with your pitcher and catcher, then build the field around them one inning column at a time. Put a newer infielder next to a steady one.
- Give each kid a spot they know, and one to learn. Try not to sit anyone two innings in a row, and tell players their positions before the game.
- Check the three boxes before you hand it in: every position filled every inning, bench time spread evenly, and today’s pitchers rested under your league’s rules.
